Girls are defining the future.

An organization dedicated to improving math literacy for girls.

Mission:MathMinds is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving math literacy for girls. Through our growing community of empowering female mentors and students, we strive to create an environment where girls are able to truly foster their passion for math while building the confidence they deserve to have. Founded in 2020, Mission:MathMinds focuses on cultivating more participation in math from females of younger ages to establish increased equality in STEM fields in the future. With our unique approach, we aim to empower girls of younger generations through the presence of female role models, female mentors, and other leaders woven in with an importance placed on community service. Having served over 300+ students of all ages, Mission:MathMinds is mentoring current generations of females to be the leaders and mentors for the next generations.

My experience with Mission:MathMinds has been absolutely amazing. I have had so much fun building the confidence of my mentee and getting to know her. I can't wait for what is to come!

Our Mentor was prepared with fantastic resources and fun games. Our Mentor took the time to get to know her a bit and build a personal relationship. Her positivity was an amazing influence on my daughter and Mentee definitely gained confidence over their sessions. Our Mentor helped Mentee get through the last few months of a very difficult year of e-learning math. We are grateful for her and this program.

I really enjoy being a part of Mission:MathMinds and the environment and help that Mission:MathMinds provides for many young girls.

We offer math mentoring sessions for girls in grades 3-12 at no cost. Our volunteer Mentors are dedicated to building the Mentee's confidence in math by empowering them. Our sessions are held virtually through Zoom and happen weekly. Every session is tailored to the Mentee's learning style. We teach math in a contrarian way, a way that helps Mentees understand math joyfully. Mission:MathMinds has mentored over 50 students and seen amazing progress with their attitude towards math. Mentees look forward to their sessions with their Mentors and find a passion for math. We also provide students with multiple different programs throughout the summer and various events to attend that engage them in math activities. Below are testimonials from Mentee parents. To sign-up, click the button below.

Mentors are girls in grades 7-12 who dedicate their time to mentoring Mentees in math and receive service hours. While emboldening the Mentee, they gain valuable mentoring skills, go through a confidence-building experience, and take part in leadership activities such as conducting events and programs. Through becoming a Mentor for Mission:MathMinds, you are on your way to excelling in community service. Service hours are very valuable for students in middle and high school. Book Drive for the Ukrainian Refugee Children

Mission:MathMinds's Book Drive for the Ukrainian Refugee Children aims to aid in bringing light to the displaced children of Ukraine through the magic of books. At such a difficult time in the world, children are the indirect target of this war, suffering every day in Ukraine and at refugee sites in Poland, France, and more. According to UNICEF, about 1.5 million children have fled Ukraine and become refugees (as of March 15, 2022). #StandWithUkraine
