Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi: Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi was elected to Congress in 2016 and is now in his fourth term representing Illinois’ 8th District, which includes Chicago’s west and northwest suburbs as well as the 41st ward of the city. He serves as Ranking Member of the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, making him the first South Asian American in history to lead a Congressional Committee. In addition, he is the founder and Chairman of the bipartisan Congressional Caucus to End the Youth Vaping Epidemic and the bipartisan Solar Caucus.

Early Childhood Developmental Enrichment Center: ECDEC is an early childhood program that serves children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old who have been identified as being “at-risk” and who live within the townships of Palatine and Wheeling.

Holy Family Catholic Academy: Holy Family Academy is a Catholic school that provides students with a classical liberal arts education and a faith-based environment. The school aims to empower parents, support families, and prepare students to be faith-filled leaders and life-long learners.

Joan Herman & Richard Rasiej Mathematics Initiative: The Joan Herman and Richard Rasiej Mathematics Initiative seeks to improve the mathematics knowledge and teaching effectiveness of current teachers in K-5 classrooms. The initiative team aims to identify the gaps in knowledge of current K-5 teachers, develop a research agenda, pilot solutions in schools, and inform evidence-based policymaking. The five-year effort started with a symposium in spring 2017 bringing together scholars in mathematics education, policy, and learning sciences.

Kids STEM Studio: We train young minds to develop their learning and problem-solving skills using an engaging and creative approach.

Kumon of Rolling Meadows: Kumon's mission is to help all children acquire basic academic skills and become self-learners. Kumon aims to foster sound, capable individuals who are able to independently carve out a path for themselves in life. Kumon believes that the most beneficial thing they can do for children is to furnish them with the ability to advance to high school level material through self-learning as early as possible in life.

Libraries Without Borders, France: Libraries Without Borders is an international non-profit that strengthens the capacity of people in vulnerable situations by facilitating access to education, culture, and information.

State Representative Mark Walker: State Representative Mark Walker serves the 53rd District as a full-time legislator after a successful career as a financial industry executive, entrepreneur, and management consultant. Mark is a strong supporter and advocate for veterans, and has volunteered much of his civic life to advocating for the homeless. In Springfield, Mark serves on many committees including Veterans' Affairs, Revenue & Finance, and is the Chairperson of the State Government Administration committee. With his successful business background, Mark has focused on small business reforms and legislation improving and expanding Illinois' diverse and innovative economy.
