Our Mission

Read about our values, vision, and mission.

For girls, by girls.

Founded in 2020, Mission:MathMinds originally started as a virtual mentoring program to address the important need for increased support in math education for students, specifically girls, during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The Mission:MathMinds Mentoring Program is a hybrid of high school female students mentoring girls in elementary, middle, and high school. With a focus placed on increasing passion and enjoyment for math rather than direct accuracy, our Mentoring Program develops long-lasting relationships between mentors and mentees that encourage interest in math. In addition to our Mentoring Program, Mission:MathMinds is actively involved in supporting our local, national, and global communities. Through the Mission:MathMinds Global Book Drive, thousands of children in Africa, France, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, the United States, and more have been impacted through the magic of books. The Mission:MathMinds National Conference 2022 hosted over 50 girls and women, with over 15 incredible speakers sharing their stories and advice as female role models.
